 Actinic Link for Sage 200®
With Sage 200® and Actinic DataPlug software installed and configured on your computer, importing and exporting data from your online store to your ing software and vice versa is a quick and easy operation.

When products, images and product categories are defined in Sage 200®, you import data from Sage 200® into Actinic DataPlug and from there easily upload that information to your Actinic store. ;

Inversely, orders, new customers, etc. created in your online store are downloaded to Actinic DataPlug and from there can be exported to Sage 200.

To install Actinic DataPlug, You need to have the Microsoft .net Framework 2.0 SP2 installed on your system.

You can download the Actinic DataPlug application directly from your Actinic admin console via the [Help / DataPlug] menu. After downloading the install file, execute it and follow the steps in the wizard. More details about the Actinic DataPlug application.

Then to activate the DataPlug Link, Sage 200® software must be installed with SDO (Sage Data Objects) for Sage s Instant activated.

 Creating Products, Images and Customers in Sage 200®

Importing Products, Images and Product Categories from Sage to DataPlug

The link allows you to import products that meet certain criteria.

Product categories and sub-categories can be created.

Numerous Actinic product fields are automatically mapped by the Link for Sage 200® such as: code, name, quantity in stock, low stock level, VAT rate, description, detailed description, price 1, weight, zoom image, main Image, thumbnail image, categories, etc.

The image associated to the product in Sage 200® can be retrieved and used as the main image in the Actinic product page and transformed for use as a thumbnail and zoom image if desired

Importing Customers

The DataPlug Link for Sage 200® allows you to import customers and contacts, provided that the files contain an email address.

Numerous Actinic fields are automatically mapped by the Link for Sage 200® such as: last name, email, company, VAT reg No, phone, secondary phone, fax, subscribed to newsletter, address, postal code, city/town, state/county, country, company, shipping address, etc.

 Uploading Data (Images, Products and Users) to Actinic
Data from Sage 200® can be uploaded from the DataPlug to Actinic separately (Products, Images, Users) or all at once with the “Upload All” option.

 Downloading Orders from the Actinic site to the DataPlug
This involves downloading, or importing, customer orders from the Actinic site and saving them in the DataPlug database.

Click on the [Download\Orders] menu in the DataPlug. You will be guided through the configuration of the customer orders to download. By default, the current day is proposed in the date range. However, you can select another date range.

Note: Only orders with a confirmed payment status are downloaded. However, you can select another payment status (Contacting Payment Processor, Payment in Process, or Payment Refused), as well as the date range related to the change of payment status.

 Export Customer Orders to Sage 200®
Exporting orders from Actinic to Sage 200® entails creating new sales orders in the company’s Sage 200®.

In the DataPlug, click on the [Export\Orders\Sage 200®] menu.

You will be guided through the necessary configurations to export your orders.

By default, the DataPlug proposes to export all orders that have not yet been exported to Sage 200®. However, you can select either a date range (with the option to export orders that have already been exported) or the prefix for customer s to create in Sage 200®.

 Creating Customers in Sage 200®
Exporting customer orders to Sage also allows you to create new customer s in the Sage database.

Exporting a customer’s order will automatically create the customer in Sage 200®
