domain name registration
Actinic offers a domain name registration service with both Actinic Express and Actinic Web Hosting. Alternatively, you can register a domain name elsewhere and point it to your Actinic-hosted store. For stores built using Actinic Catalog, Actinic Business or Actinic Designer and hosted elsewhere, you will need to use either the domain name registration service provided by your web host, or a third party domain name registrar.
Your domain name is the www. address by which your site will be known on the Internet. You can use the generic name provided by Actinic or your web host, but it is more professional to have your own domain name, and it will be easier for your customers to remember.
