Actinic EPOS systems are Chip and Pin approved. By using a Chip & Pin you can save time re-keying
transactions into a separate PDQ terminal, speed up card
transactions considerably and reduce fraud. Typical processing/authorisation
time for credit cards via the integrated Chip & Pin
is 3 to 5 seconds.
Actinic has teamed up with YESpay, a leading
provider of Electronic Funds Transfer card payment solutions,
to provide a competitive merchant package for independent
retailers.
Key Features
- Supported transaction types are Sale, Refund,
Purchase With Cash Back, Customer Not Present and Customer
Not
Present Refund.
- Credit Card receipts will be printed on your receipt printer as per your normal receipts. No need to purchase additional rolls for your PDQ terminal. Two copies will be printed one for you and one for your customer.
- Multiple till points can process card transactions
simultaneously (Requires multiple Chip and Pin
packages).
Requirements
In order to use Chip and PIN with your Actinic EPOS system you will need:
- An existing Merchant Account issued by a bank.
- Chip and Pin terminal. You can purchase a terminal directly from the Actinic shop.
- Broadband internet connection. To process credit
card transactions. Theinternet access point
needs to be close
to the PC or till.
- A YESpay service agreement. You can apply for
a YESpay account by downloading and completing
the YESpay Bureau
Service Agreement and Merchant
Application Form.
Costs
- £19.50 per terminal per month including
up to 1250 transactions per terminal per month
or £24.50 per terminal per month for up to 2500 transactions
- Initial
set up fee £40.00 per terminal if purchased with an EPOS system and on-site
installation
or £149 if purchased separately for self-installation
- Annual fee £7.00
