Dreamweaver Integration

The Actinic Dreamweaver integration provides an optional interface for designing an Actinic ecommerce site in Dreamweaver. The facility works by adding an additional 'Actinic' menu to Dreamweaver with the Actinic ecommerce elements being dropped into place visually, as part of the design. You can also edit any Actinic layout in Dreamweaver and instantly update Actinic with the changes.

Register a page design with Actinic

Register a page design with Actinic. You can choose to use the same design for all pages, or use different designs for different parts of the site. Whatever you choose, you can easily change it later.

Tell Actinic where to put the main product information

Tell Actinic where to put the main product information. Select 'Insert Actinic content' from the 'Actinic' menu, click on 'INNERLAYOUT', then click 'OK'.

Predefined variables are provided for the main elements

Predefined variables are provided for the main elements, such as search box and navigation bar.

Each one has a number of alternative layouts to choose from - or you can create your own layouts, and apply them from within Actinic or within Dreamweaver.

You can click 'Advanced' and select individual objects

For maximum control, you can click 'Advanced' and select individual objects from the complete list of ecommerce elements.

The 'Edit Layout In Dreamweaver' button in the Actinic design view gives you the option to open and edit the current page in Dreamweaver, whether it was originally created there or not.
