dreamweaver extensions
The Actinic Dreamweaver Extensions enable an overall site design to be imported from, and maintained in, Dreamweaver, with the ecommerce elements being dropped into place visually. Multiple page designs can be imported and used for different parts of the web site.
The
extensions add a new 'Actinic' menu to Dreamweaver.
From this menu, you can register a page design with Actinic. You can choose to use the same design for all pages, or use different designs for different parts of the site. Whatever you choose, you can easily change it later.
Next,
you need to tell Actinic where to put the main product
information. Select 'Insert Actinic content' from the
'Actinic' menu, click on 'INNERLAYOUT', then click
'OK'. 
Predefined
variables are provided for the main elements, such as search
box and navigation bar.
Each one has a number of alternative layouts to choose from - or you can create your own layouts, and apply them from within Actinic or within Dreamweaver.
For maximum control, you can click 'Advanced' and select individual
objects from the complete list of ecommerce elements. 
The
'Verify Actinic Content' option checks for elements
that have been omitted. 
The
'Edit Layout In Dreamweaver' button in the Actinic
design view gives you the option to open and edit the
current page in Dreamweaver, whether it
was originally created there or not.
