Our turnover has increased by 150% in two years, and we currently average a revenue of 30,000 euros a month. We’re really beginning to master internet sales, fostering customer loyalty and we expect our growth to continue in the coming years.
One of the key factors in our success is our multi-channel sales strategy, we harness the power of the leading ecommerce player: Amazon and eBay. These sites are great vectors for broadening our prospect base and give us access to an huge number of potential customers.
The numbers are impressive, 20% of our sales are currently generated through marketplaces, such as eBay and Amazon, and 17% of our sales come from price comparison sites on where we publish our featured products on a daily basis. Our Robomow lawn- mower for example, was a great success on these sites.
With this commercial success, we completed our cross-channel strategy, last year, by putting our mobile site online. The mobile site now generates 5% of sales and we believe it could double that within a year. Our customers are very happy, for them it’s an extremely convenient way to shop. Mobile has undoubtedly taken its place in ecommerce!
We have also just published our shop on Facebook, which has increased our visibility and and reputation, whilst also increasing our site visits. It also gives us the opportunity to highlight our new products in a fun and friendly manner and strengthens our commitment to our customer community.

- It is very easy to sell on eBay and Amazon. Putting products online, managing orders and stock synchronisation are all managed by the Actinic solution; it centralises sales and also saves us valuable time in business management.
- Our mobile site launch was very easy to do and didn’t incur any additional installation costs. It allows us to take a share in a constantly growing market and to keep in touch with our customers when they’re on the go.
- Sales generated by price comparison sites are displayed in a comprehensive table in the back office which measures the profitability of the sales channel for each product. A very effective way of managing our metrics that allows us to strengthen our position on the most profitable products and develop both our revenue and our profit margins.
