Actinic Payments what's new
Actinic Payments, the secure online payments system for processing Actinic ecommerce, telephone and mail orders, just got even better with the introduction of new and improved functionality.
Key New Features
Actinic Payments securely stores the customers card details for both 'shopped before' and account customers to enable further payments against an order, or payment for a new order from the same customer, directly from within the order screen.
Therefore for subsequently offline orders there is no need to ask the customer for their card details again or use a virtual terminal to take a payment, making it fast and convenient to process additional orders.
Previous card details are easily identifiable by the last four digits of the card along 
with the card expiry date.
The card number is not actually stored but instead a secure token is used to identify the card to the Actinic Payments Server.
One-Click Order Completion can now Commit pre-authorised Actinic Payments transactions making for fast and efficient order processing. Actinic Payments orders can now be completed in one click, and in batches, without the need to Commit payments individually for each order.
The Actinic Payments refund dialog is now pre-populated with the likely refund amount instead of the full order total; saving time calculating the likely refund and increasing accuracy.
A new option to copy an order number to the clipboard has been added to the right-click menu of the orders table. This makes it much easier to insert an order number into an email or other related correspondence.
A new validation setting ‘Strict’ is now available for CVV2, address and postcode validation. With this setting enabled, orders will be rejected if the details in the order do not match those on record, or it the details cannot be checked. This tighter validation option can reduce the risk of fraudulent orders being received.
The Third Man ‘Held’ status has been renamed to the more intuitive ‘Check’, to improve usability.
The 'Payments and Refunds' report, aids bank reconciliation by enabling you to run a report of the transactions between two Actinic Payment settlements,
in any date or time range showing the actual settlement time of your Actinic Payments account.
