Actinic is a specialist UK EPOS and ecommerce company, providing e-commerce and point of sale solutions for small and medium retailers. Founded in 1996, Actinic has supplied solutions for thousands of companies in the retail sector, both online and offline.

Site owners are supplied with Actinic Catalog Client or Actinic Business Client software to operate their stores which have the design features removed.

The Self-Builder range (for those wanting to create their own store):

Actinic Express is an entry-level web-based shopping cart;
Actinic Catalog provides everything a merchant requires to develop and manage their own online store, including capacity for growth;
Actinic Business is a more sophisticated application for higher volume sites and integration to Sage Line 50 accounting systems.
Actinic Business Plus allows users to manage an unlimited number of sites, and enables multi-user access for catalogue maintenance and order-processing on a small number of networked PCs.
Actinic Enterprise is a true multi-channel application suitable for successful and growing businesses with large order volumes, running on a highly scaleable local SQL database,

Users can obtain annual maintenance for any product via purchase of Actinic Cover.

Both EPOS and ecommerce lines are sold through channel partners including web designers, Internet Service Providers, web hosts and IT VARs.
